PLEASE GIVE FREELY TO THE REUNITE THE WEBBER FAMILY FUND

Meet David and Laura Webber, the unofficial, but very real Godparents of our now grown children. They are Ang and my oldest standing friends, and closest allies on this sometimes hostile plane, none other than beautiful mother Earth. Our two young families first met in the fall of 1995, when we had three rug rats running around in cloth diapers, and they just two. (We eventually had four, and they ten!) They weren’t judgmental, or uppity in their expression of life, and we forged a friendship that has stood the test of time. Through the years, our families have broken bread together, played horseshoes in the back yard, watched movies, bowled as a team in a bowling league (most recently), put us up when we were homeless, but probably most importantly, we fellow-shipped as two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl, year after year, as my favorite musical group once put it. They are kindred souls, who have been tested, and sometimes bested by the same fire as us. Their most recent test has been the hardest of all to endure: the separation of family. Based on rumor, innuendo, and out right false accusations their babies have been wrongfully taken from them. And they have no recourse, no rights, no say in this matter. They have been made to wait in the dark, as it were, forcefully estranged from their family. Personally, I HAVE to do something on behalf of David and Laura. Being a father of four beautiful children, who although now grown, and on their own, I know how I would have felt if they had been taken from me when they were young. So I am asking for you to do your part. I am asking you to give freely, and abundantly to David and Laura’s defending attorney. This gentleman is a for profit lawyer, and his needed services are top of the line, and worth every penny, especially if reuniting this family is the pay off. Our goal is to raise $25000 which should be sufficient to mount a mutiny against the powers that be, otherwise known as the usurping family faction who has manipulated the Maine Judicial System into a miscarriage of justice.
